The nephew of former Sabre Dave Snuggerud comes in as the most highly touted high school prospect eligible for the year’s draft, and for good reason. In his senior year, Snuggerud posted 38 points in 25 games as the team’s Captain. Winning the Reed Larson Award, displaying great passion as well as great on and off ice behavior, Snuggerud is a true character player. A hard competitor, he takes pride in doing the little things right.

Committed to play for the University of Nebraska-Omaha this fall, Snuggerud is a strong skating, two-way defender who is capable of manning the point on the power play. With a strong shot, Snuggerud explains his decision to play defense was born from liking to control the play from the back end, which he does thanks to his great decision making.

A strong skater who can pass and carry the puck, he also has the ability to recover quickly to get back where he displays great aggressiveness in his own zone.
