The former bantam scoring prodigy has continued his ascent in junior hockey. Tallying 64 points in 59 games as a sophomore in the WHL, the undersized center did deal with a medical scare as of late. After a game, Hawryluk became lightheaded and collapsed, requiring a two day stint in the hospital. He rebounded well though, scoring a goal in his first game back.

With solid offensive instincts and a good shot, Hawryluk is an offensive minded forward no doubt. A strong skater with good speed, he’ll fight to get into the greasy areas and is always looking to create opportunities. He plays bigger than his size would imply though and displays responsibility to being a three zone player.
