Fabbri has been on the ice for basically his entire life. The standout center began skating at age two and always gravitated towards hockey. As he continued his accent up the ranks, Fabbri found himself being drafted 6th overall in the 2012 OHL Priority Selection and is currently considered a potential first round pick for the 2014 NHL Draft.

He did face some adversity early on this season, being suspended 10 games for an illegal hit to the head. He has bounced back though, picking up a line of 21-17-38 in 25 games.

Fabbri is a smart player with great wheels. He can absolutely fly on the ice and displays great mobility and elusiveness. With the puck on his stick, he has shown his creativity and frustrates defenders with his slick stick skills. And aside from displaying a quick release on his shot, Fabbri also makes crisp tape-to-tape passes to his teammates.

A two-way player, Guelph forward is a great competitor who is hard on both the forecheck and backcheck. He is willing to play a physical brand of hockey, but adding some size and strength would surely compliment his game.

Chosen to play in the CHL/NHL top prospects game in Calgary, Fabbri’s skilled, hardworking game will be on display in front of quite a few NHL scouts. A player who will bring it every night, Fabbri currently projects as a late 1st/early 2nd round pick.
